Payal Thakkar has over two decades of experience in U.S. tax compliance and advisory services, serving businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations.

She has played a key role in building and strengthening global tax delivery teams for U.S. accounting firms, supporting complex engagements and cross-border collaboration. At Citrin Cooperman India, Payal was instrumental in developing the India tax practice, with a focus on team leadership, integration with U.S. teams, and delivery effectiveness.

Payal is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Master of Commerce degree from Maharaja Sayajirao University.
