After more than eight years of recruiting for high-growth tech startups in California, Sam joined GFC’s HR consulting team in 2023. As a trusted talent advisor, she assists clients with attracting and retaining great employees that help build unique and dynamic corporate cultures.

Samantha is a native of Connecticut and worked as a recruiter for several San Francisco area software companies. She helped scale up offices in Brazil and the United States and has experience hiring in engineering, product, marketing, operations, program management & non-profit fundraising.

Before GFC, Sam spent more than five years at Handshake, an online recruiting platform that connects up-and-coming talent with more than 650,000 employers.

A member of the Development Committee at Vermont’s Lund Center, Samantha lives in Milton where she enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle.

Mike has more than 20 years of human resources (HR) experience and specializes in strategic HR business advisory services, manager and leadership training, leadership coaching, employee engagement and retention strategies, and strategic planning. Renowned as an innovative advisor, he offers a unique blend of HR and business expertise that provides fresh insight into organizational challenges and opportunities for companies of all sizes in various industries. Mike is adept at translating a client’s strategic vision into initiatives that improve performance, collaboration, and engagement.

Prior to joining GFC in 2022, he held various progressive HR leadership roles including serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources & Organizational Development for Premier Members Credit Union and as a Partner and Senior HR Consultant for Fluence.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Exercise Physiology degrees from the University of Louisville. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Executive Coach and Associate Certified Coach (CEC and ACC), and he is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
