Senior Manager, Client Accounting Services

Elizabeth manages assurance engagements for a variety of non-public companies and not-for-profit organizations, with a concentration on not-for-profit organizations. Her not-for-profit experience includes audits of independent schools, colleges, and universities, as well as of human service, humanitarian, cultural, and religious organizations, and private foundations. In the course of this work, Elizabeth has planned, conducted, and supervised numerous single audits under Federal Uniform Guidance.

Prior to joining GFC in 2021, Elizabeth spent eight years in Accounting & Auditing with CBIZ CPAs in Boston, Massachusetts, where she became a Principal in the Not-For-Profit and Education practice. Subsequently, she spent five years as Chief Financial Officer of a Massachusetts childcare agency. As CFO, she streamlined finance process and roles, and oversaw all aspects of the fiscal function, including budget preparation and management; annual financial, Uniform Guidance, employee benefit plan, and regulatory agency audits; and staff leadership of Finance and Retirement Plan Committees. Elizabeth holds a Certificate in Accounting from Salem State University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Simmons University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College, all in Massachusetts.

Elizabeth is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Vermont Society of CPAs. She has served on several boards and finance committees, recently completing a term on the board of directors and as treasurer of Backyard Growers, a community organization promoting urban vegetable gardening in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Elizabeth is now treasurer of United Church of Northfield, Vermont, and serves on the church’s Stewardship and Vision Committees.
